A public, wheelchair-accessible adaptive golf course on Flickinger Road in the Akron/Lakemore, Ohio area, built in 1991-92 as the first course in the nation designed specifically for golfers with disabilities. It has an unusual layout -- a compact course with three sets of tees played for a full nine-hole round -- plus a 12-acre driving range and an indoor hitting range.
