Faribault Golf Club traces to a nine-hole course that opened in 1910; the present 18-hole layout at its current site includes a front nine designed by Willie Kidd in 1956 and a back nine by Bob Carlson in 1966. The club helped found the Minnesota Golf Association and has hosted the 1970 Minnesota State Open and 1984 U.S. Open local qualifying. Amenities include a bar and grill, pool, locker room, and practice facilities.
