Private 18-hole, par-72 club established in 1898, among the oldest country clubs west of the Mississippi. Original nine laid out by William Watson in 1899; expanded to 18 holes by Robert Foulis in 1907. Has hosted the 1916 U.S. Open, 1927 U.S. Amateur, 1957 Walker Cup, 1988 U.S. Women's Amateur, and 2017 U.S. Senior Amateur.
